Official Eagle County Contacts
The right contact depends on the record and the person's custody stage. Call before visiting because the research did not confirm one public counter schedule for every sheriff function.

Use these routes for the most common questions:
- For a booking entry or photo, start with the Eagle County search and records path, then contact Sheriff's Office records if the image or older record is not online.
- For current jail status or a release question, contact detention information. Colorado VINE can provide custody-change alerts but does not show mugshots.
- For a warrant question, contact Eagle Combined Courts or an official Sheriff's Office non-emergency channel. The Sheriff's Most Wanted page explains why the docket is only a lead.
- For an incident report, contact the arresting agency. Gypsum police services are provided by the Sheriff's Office, while Eagle and Avon have municipal police departments.
- For filed charges or an outcome, ask Eagle Combined Courts for the appropriate case document, such as a Register of Action or disposition order.
- For a person sentenced to state corrections, use the Colorado Department of Corrections Offender Search. For federal or immigration detention, use the official BOP or ICE locator.
A booking charge is an allegation, not a conviction. Court records are the official source for the later disposition, and every person remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
